Availability

BDML Curbside service is available during business hours to everyone with a valid library card.
To apply for a new library card, or renew your expired card, click here.

How?

Step One - Reserve your items

By Phone
Call the library at 860-742-7606 during Curbside Hours to speak to a staff member about reserving items.

Online
Log into our online catalog to search for items and place them on hold.

Step Two - Get notified

Once your reserves are placed, library staff will go to work grabbing all of your items. If you've provided us with an email address, you will receive an email notification telling you that items are ready for pickup. If we have no email on file for you, we'll give you a call when you have items ready.

Step Three - Request curbside pickup

Once you receive your pickup notification, call us at 860-742-7606 to request curbside pickup and our staff will check your items out to you and place them outside for pickup. Then just come on down and grab the bag with your first name, last initial, and the last 3 digits of your card number.

Curbside pickup is only available during business hours.  To protect from theft and weather, at the end of each day, all bags will be brought back inside, and will be made available again on the next business day. If not picked up within one week, your items will be checked back in and reshelved.

Curbside Printing

We're pleased to be able to offer printing services during our curbside hours:
  1. Email documents to print@coventrypl.org. Please include your first and last name in the body of the email.
  2. Call the library at 860-742-7606 when you arrive. Be ready to provide your full name and email address.
  3. Please keep your distance while staff bring your documents to our pickup shelf outside the main entrance.
  4. Once staff is back inside, grab your documents and enjoy the rest of your day!

To limit the exchanging of items, the library will cover the cost of curbside printing for all patrons. Printing is free.

Please limit printing to essential documents with a reasonable number of pages.
