Take-Home Prevention and Wellness Kits

Available for check out from the Teen Center 
All kits check out for 3 weeks and contain a variety of educational activities, equipment, and materials to facilitate learning and communication about these topics within families. Our kits include:

Alcohol Misuse
A comprehensive kit to guide families through talking and learning about alcohol use, its effects on the underage brain, harm reduction strategies, and risk factors for alcohol use disorder. Includes both middle grade and high school level buddy reads and an open conversation guide to facilitate family communication around this topic.

Impaired Driving
This kit contains impairment goggles along with information and activities to educate about the dangers of drunk driving, as well as resources to strengthen communication between teens and families to ensure that everybody is empowered to choose a safe ride home.

Vaping
Featuring a sound-enabled model of a drowned lung, this kit contains information and interactive elements to educate and facilitate conversation about the risks of vaping, especially among youth.
